I’m a second-year Computer Science PhD student at UCLA, advised by Prof. Eunice Jun. My research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction, programming languages, and causal inference, with a focus on designing tools and languages for scientists to reason about experiments. Broadly, I’m motivated by developing abstractions that empower people to make decisions under uncertainty.

My past research spans human–computer interaction and high-performance computing, including work on Charliecloud, a fully unprivileged container service for HPC applications. I received a B.S. in Computer Science and German Studies. In my free time, I enjoy surfing, hiking, and reading.
